Preparatory Tiling Work

To ensure that your beautifully finished new tiled floor lasts for many years to come, we provide a full preparatory works service before our expert installation.

Having worked in the tiling industry for over 17 years, we appreciate that an exceptional installation is only as good as the preparation work done before it. Unlike many other flooring companies, we have the experience to know that unless you prepare the floor correctly, a new installation will never be fully functional and free of problems.

Our preparatory works are designed to smooth out any rough marks, fill in holes and remove any imperfections. This then provides a perfect base on which to install your new high quality ceramic, glass or natural stone tiles.

The preparatory works that we carry out include:

  • Plastering
  • Screeding
  • Latexing
  • Skimming

Our plastering and latexing services involve a thin layer of plaster being administered to the sub floor. This will then take out any imperfections and ensure that all parts of the floor are the same level.

Designed to give a new and improved look to your domestic flooring, our screeding service is an ideal solutions to the problem of uneven floors. Our skimming service involves laying down a mixture of cement and a plasticiser to produce a flat, smooth floor that can stand heavy wear.

Our highly skilled and vastly experienced team have completed many preparatory projects during our 17 years in the tiling and flooring industry so you can rest assured that your floor installation will be of the highest possible quality – every time.

Based in Chatham, Kent, we provide our preparatory work service to domestic customers across Medway, London and the South East, including Rochester, Gillingham, Rainham, Maidstone, Cobham, Clapham, Kensington, Chelsea, Wandsworth, Battersea, Canterbury, Dover and Sevenoaks.

If you would like any more information about our preparatory work, please do not hesitate to contact one of our helpful and friendly team. They are always on hand to answer any questions you may have and provide honest and impartial advice.
